The Devourer grants each Herald a portion of the Power Cosmic to aid them in their efforts. Over the eons, Galactus has taken on Heralds to aid him in the finding of those worlds. However, Frank's sad, tragic tale doesn't end there. And a deal with Thanos makes him. And that is how the Ghost Rider became a Cosmic Ghost Rider. The second deal was that Galactus make Frank his new herald, with the caveat that only once Thanos is defeated can Galactus eat Earth. On paper, Cosmic Ghost Rider feels like the kind of character that a kid would create- he was once the Punisher, who survived Thanos killing every other hero on Earth, then became the new Ghost Rider, and finally volunteered to become the Herald of Galactus, gaining the Power Cosmic. Not really in link, just the character driving & laughing. As a force of nature, Galactus must consume planets for the energy and sustenance he needs to carry on his tragic existence. Cover - I should have stick with the regular, because I don't like the style of the variant. For me he didn't succeed exceed the concept. But not much, and I find all it uninteresting.
